The Expert
Upholstery piqued my curiosity from a young age. Growing up on the Isle of Skye, I watched my mother restore the wood of people’s unwanted furniture. The memories stayed, and as an adult, I noticed the lack of good upholstery services and decided to learn the craft myself. In 2012, I studied at a Scottish AMU training center for two years and passed my training with distinction.
Since starting the business, one of the best things about upholstery is restoring a chair with so many happy family memories and making it new so that it can be used and loved by the next generation.
While getting a ‘like’ or a ‘heart’ online is great, the real happiness is the ‘wow’ moment when we deliver a chair back to someone. It is this personal connection we cherish the most.

My husband, Kenny, is fully trained in traditional and modern upholstery and is the driver of each restoration.
I’m the charming assistant.
Kenny’s passion for furniture restoration began during childhood when his mum (an artist ) helped him understand the emotional bond we can form with furniture.
